Description This on‑site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast‑paced medical practice environment. As an Emergency Medicine Physician at 77 Consultants, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality healthcare services. You will be tasked with diagnosing and managing acute medical conditions while collaborating closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This role emphasizes quick decision‑making and effective communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Perform thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ conditions Administer necessary treatments and interventions Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers Document patient care accurately and thoroughly Respond promptly to urgent medical situations Stay informed on the latest medical practices and emergency protocols Participate in continuous education and training opportunities Requirements Position Overview : Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Bill Rate: $407/hour Anticipated Start Date: July 2026 for a duration of 3 months Provider Type: MD/DO Specialty: Emergency Medicine Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE) Required: 2.0 Reason for Opening: Gap in coverage Daily Shift Standard: Variable (multiple shift patterns available) Shift Patterns: 06:00‑15:00 06:30‑15:30 08:00‑17:00 10:00‑19:00 12:00‑21:00 14:00‑23:00 16:00‑01:00 18:00‑03:00 20:00‑04:00 22:00‑06:00 Clinical Privileges: Hospital Setting: Inpatient Inpatient Bed Capacity: 60 Call Requirement: None Rounding/Admissions: None required Patient Demographics: All populations Average Daily Patient Volume: 230‑270 Required Competencies and Procedures: Proficient in standard ER procedures Solo Practice: No; the department is adequately staffed Licensure: Candidates must hold an active Oregon medical license Certifications (AHA or ARC standards): Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Note: Certification does not need to be current at the time of application.
