Machine Operator (Production / Manufacturing Associate)

Location: Katy, TX 77494

Duration: 12 months - Potential conversion to full-time (not guaranteed)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour on W2

Shift

• Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
• Overtime is optional, not mandatory

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting, taping, and applying adhesive
• Trim finished rubber parts
• Operate extruders and other production machines
• Maintain equipment and ensure raw materials meet production requirements
• Follow quality standards to produce high-quality parts
• Train and support other team members as needed
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Exposure to rubber molding or machine operation
• Experience using hand tools (e.g., knives, grinders)
• Familiarity with shop-floor processes

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
• Heavier items require team lifting or mechanical assistance

Safety Requirements

• Strong adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
• Steel-toe shoes required
