Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a vibrant educational setting and make a meaningful difference for students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Bucyrus, OH, is ideal for a highly skilled professional who enjoys working in schools and collaborating with a supportive team.
Stepping into this role, you will provide occupational therapy services for a manageable caseload that includes pre-K to 3rd graders as well as a focused group of K-5 students with one consult. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through October 7, 2026 and requires your presence two days per week—providing a balanced schedule that allows flexibility and professional fulfillment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and caregivers
- Proficiency with assessment tools and best practices in school-based OT
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students in pre-K through fifth grade
- Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student participation and success
- Complete thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on accommodation strategies
