JOB Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects.

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.

• Conduct subcontractor kickoff meetings and communicate project expectations, schedules, safety requirements, and site procedures.

• Maintain and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.

• Perform site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and compliance with plans and specifications.

• Prepare daily construction reports documenting manpower, work completed, inspections, progress, and site conditions.

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Coordinate activities between multiple trades to maintain efficient workflow.

• Identify and resolve field issues, delays, and construction conflicts.

• Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Support project closeout activities, including inspections, documentation, warranties, and final turnover.

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies.

• Monitor project milestones, schedule progress, and field performance.

• 5-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent managing commercial construction projects.

• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $2M-$8M .

• Active Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required.

• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and open-shop trade partners.

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and field operations.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Experience preparing daily reports and maintaining project documentation.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule.
