About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Design to join their team. This role is pivotal in establishing and leading the design function, with a focus on creating AI-powered tools to enhance access to behavioral healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design of consumer-facing experiences, including the design of AI-driven conversational interfaces that are intuitive and user-centered. Additionally, the role involves creating workflows and interfaces that improve efficiency for healthcare professionals, as well as establishing the company's visual language, design system, and interaction patterns. The Head of Design will also be instrumental in developing scalable design processes and partnering with product and engineering leadership to influence product strategy. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of consumer-facing digital products. Experience as an early or founding designer in a startup environment is essential, as is the ability to balance strategic design leadership with hands-on execution. Proficiency in Figma and experience with AI-powered design and development tools are required. Strong visual, interaction, and UX design skills for consumer applications are a must, and experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is preferred. The role offers the opportunity to shape the design direction of the company and to build and lead a design organization as the company expands.
