Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse Critical Care

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current RN license in New Hampshire
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification required (except for specific departments)
• 3 years critical care experience preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge preferred
• NHISS certification preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in critical care settings.
• Ensure compliance with unit-specific competencies for critically ill patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Communicate patient information effectively for continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in resolution of conflicts.
• Support nursing students and participate in peer review.

Compliance / Notes:

Up to 16 hours of orientation will be unpaid. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
