Tennessee Home Builders is seeking a Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and drive consistent growth for our home building business in Readyville, TN.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales process from lead generation through contract and closing, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every step. This role partners closely with internal teams to align sales strategy with company goals, improve conversion rates, and support predictable revenue performance.

In addition to managing day-to-day sales activities, the Sales Manager coaches and guides the sales team, monitors key performance indicators, and identifies opportunities to strengthen sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, presentations, negotiations, and closing.

• Set sales goals and forecasts, track performance against targets, and use reporting to drive continuous improvement.

• Coach, train, and support sales team members to strengthen skills, consistency, and customer outcomes.

• Collaborate with relevant internal teams to ensure timely communication, accurate project information, and a smooth handoff through closing.

• Manage customer relationships professionally, addressing questions and concerns while protecting long-term customer trust.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or construction-related sales, with demonstrated success driving revenue growth.

• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate individuals and manage performance.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first mindset.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay organized under deadlines.

• Comfort working with sales metrics and using performance data to guide decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a sales team or leading sales operations within a home building or related industry.

• Familiarity with building processes, customer decision factors, and the dynamics of closing residential contracts.

• Track record of improving conversion rates through process enhancements and targeted training.

• Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to represent the company professionally with diverse audiences.
