Trusts and Estates Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a driven Trusts and Estates Attorney to join their Boca Raton, Florida office. This role offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney with a minimum of six years of experience to engage in long-term succession planning within a reputable private client practice. Duties Advise clients on estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and income tax planning matters. Design and implement wealth transfer strategies for high net worth individuals and families. Counsel clients on family office structures, fiduciary matters, and business succession planning. Collaborate with colleagues on client strategy and planning design. Manage substantial client matters with autonomy and exceptional service. Mentor junior attorneys and high-level paralegals. Utilize technology platforms to manage workflow and client communications. Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships over time. Requirements Minimum six years of Trusts and Estates experience. Florida Bar admission in good standing. Experience with sophisticated estate and tax planning techniques. Strong understanding of federal transfer tax planning and trust administration. Exceptional client relationship and communication skills. Ability to manage complex matters independently. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills. Comfortable with technology-enabled processes and systems. Experience mentoring junior professionals. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Florida. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
