Production Planner

The Production Planner is responsible for the daily planning, follow-up, and optimization of the demand required to support the production deliverables. Main responsibilities will include:

• Coordination and optimization of production workflow for one or multiple production areas
• Analyze production factors such as capacity, cycle time, and urgencies to ensure production plan achievement
• Determining manpower and equipment to cover production demand
• Developing standardized, custom reports as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Support the team in capacity modeling and production analysis
• Support additional ad hoc projects, initiatives, and business needs as they arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 3-year experience or equivalent
• Organized, results-driven with great problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and computer skills are very useful for the role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and ERP systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to forge ties and build relations between colleagues
• Rigor and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Must be bilingual (French and English) (written, read, and spoken)

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
