Work Environment\n

This remote role allows you to provide therapy from anywhere within the United States, contributing to a perfect work-life balance. You will be part of an outpatient office environment that operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, focusing on delivering client-centered therapy without the geographical limitations of traditional counseling settings. You will use secure video conferencing tools that comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring a safe and private space for therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base seeking support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. You will approach each client with empathy and cultural competence, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences they bring to therapy. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be critical in facilitating positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) without any restrictions.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt them to different client situations.

• Proficiency in using digital therapy platforms and tools, including systems for session documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in clinical mental health counseling is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy dynamics, specific mental health treatment frameworks, and tools for client engagement would enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals) may also be beneficial, depending on the caseload.
