Details Cardiac ICU setting caring for overflow patients from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU with a focus on cardiology 23 staffed beds on the unit Patient ratio of 1:2 Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 Every other weekend required, with flexibility expected for unit needs No on-call requirements No block scheduling accommodations Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas expected Epic charting system required Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required, pending licenses not accepted Minimum 2 years critical care experience required Prior travel experience required, including at least 2 travel assignments beyond initial hospital Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required TNCC certification preferred but not required Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities preferred References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiac ICU patients and overflow cases from other ICUs Facility is Magnet-recognized, a teaching hospital, and a Level I Trauma center Manager prefers to avoid pairing travelers together Scrub color is blue, either facility-provided or a solid color of choice COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions RTO limited to no more than 6 days and cannot be requested during orientation week Local candidates accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction Prior UW/Harborview staff must be separated from the facility for 18 months before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are not accepted for this role American Traveler Job ID P-749707.
