Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Dallas team. In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, conducting market research, and supporting pursuit efforts that align with company goals. What We Offer Annual performance bonuses Vehicle allowance Comprehensive benefits package Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match Essential Job Functions Develop a thorough understanding of company target markets, resources, and services to identify business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives Research competitors and market trends to support the development of winning pursuit strategies Understand client decision-making processes and identify key decision makers Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients Collect, maintain, and manage client information within the CRM database Conduct market research and identify potential project opportunities and clients Track and monitor bid proposals, active pursuits, and future project opportunities Contribute to the development of sales strategies that support short- and long-term business objectives Evaluate upcoming opportunities and assess their viability for the company Anticipate client needs and provide solutions, recommendations, and support as appropriate Facilitate collaboration between clients and operational teams to support successful project pursuits Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project teams, and clients Represent the company through participation in professional organizations, networking events, and industry associations Mentor and support the development of junior team members Analyze market trends, client behavior, and competitive intelligence to improve pursuit strategies Drive client engagement and pipeline development aligned with company growth objectives Develop and maintain standardized pursuit processes, tools, and communication practices Meet regularly with market sector leaders to support business development initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred Experience using CRM software or similar customer relationship management platforms preferred Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
