Required Skills:

• NBRC RRT certification and IN state license (must be in hand for submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy
• Proficient in airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Ability to float between NICU, Pediatrics acute care, and adult acute care units
• Strong understanding of respiratory equipment such as Hamilton G5 and Philips V60
• Competent in documentation systems, preferably Cerner
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with bronchoscopes and trauma or teaching hospital settings
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment and procedures
• Past work in emergency room environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in pediatric and adult acute care settings
• Previous experience with ventilator and pulmonary care management

Other Requirements:

• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required
• Willingness to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts from 17:30 to 06:00) including holidays
• Ability to float across various units such as NICU, Peds, and Adult Intensive Care
• Willingness to adhere to all licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement policies
