Position: Process Mechanical Team Leader Location: Harlingen, TX Job Id: 5388 # of Openings: 1 Garver is seeking a Process Mechanical Team Leader to join our Water Design Center (WDC) team in Harlingen, TX. As part of Garver’s growing Water Design Centers, you’ll lead a team responsible for producing designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and other ancillary infrastructure associated with water and wastewater projects company wide. You’ll be engaged in design calculations, hydraulic modeling, facility layouts, equipment selections, managing and coordinating support discipline activities, coordinating with equipment vendors and regulatory agencies, and performing quality reviews. You’ll travel occasionally for business development purposes and when a project requires a site assessment as well as support during construction.Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Design water and wastewater treatment processesEvaluate, select, and implement water and wastewater equipmentLead the design pump stations, lift stations, and pump selectionLead hydraulic analyses of water and wastewater treatment plantsLead conceptual level designs for water and wastewater treatment systemsLead detailed designs, including contract documents (plans and specifications)Oversee the development of construction drawings and 3D modelsSupport construction projectsCoordinate with other support discipline activities, regional Garver offices, and regulatory and funding agenciesSupport regional teams with treatment related business development activitiesDevelop scope, schedule, level of effort, and fees for projectsPlan and monitor budgetsEnsure quality program compliance and delivery of work products that adhere to Garver standardizationManage and mentor teamsAbout Garver's Water Infrastructure Design Center:The Water Infrastructure Design Center is a knowledge-based hub that excels in highly technical, multi-discipline water and wastewater designs for locations all across Garver’s footprint.
