Overview Shift Mon - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Registered with the BBS as an ACSW, APCC or AMFT. Seeking career-minded applicants who desire upward career mobility and work-life balance. Pay and Benefits Hourly Rate: Associate $42.07/hr; Licensed $54.30/hr. Bi-Lingual Pay: $135 per paycheck for threshold languages to serve our monolingual clients. Pay rates for Union positions are set in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with SEIU Local 521. Current rates: Clinician I – Step 1 $42.07/hr to Step 6 $46.45/hr; Clinician II – Step 1 $54.30/hr to Step 6 $59.96/hr. We offer a competitive benefits package for 30 to 40-hour week positions, including a defined contribution up to $15,433.08 per year (pro rated for part-time) and employer retirement plan with a 4% match after one year. Medical benefits – Kaiser and Sutter Health plans with deductible options and copays Dental benefits – Guardian Vision benefits – Guardian VSP options Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership in comprehensive assessments, case conferences, treatment plans and strategic interventions to ensure quality service delivery. Serve as a lead member of the treatment team; participate in crisis intervention; provide clinical supervision and direct services as assigned within scope of practice. Provide orientation, consultation, and coordination to ensure service delivery meets client, family, and payor needs and reflects sound clinical judgment. Provide clinical leadership and training to staff, interns, and volunteers within agency standards. Provide consultation and back-up to staff in responding to client crisis; develop, review, evaluate and/or sign documentation (including LPHA signatures). Deliver treatment services and support to clients individually and in groups; assist families to develop skills related to physical and mental health care needs. Interview clients and representatives to gather information; complete strengths assessments and needs analyses; develop goal-oriented plans with clients; facilitate rehabilitation/counseling groups; coordinate services and make referrals as needed. Develop discharge and follow-up treatment plans; complete reassessments prior to expiration of current plans. Maintain timely, accurate clinical records and reports; provide crisis assessment/intervention and follow-up; participate in after-hours coverage as assigned. Assist Program Manager in maintaining compliance with CARF, contracts, agency and regulatory requirements. Provide transportation for clients and program needs; participate in on-call coverage and after-hours rotation; perform First Aid in emergencies if assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities Attend staff, program, agency and community meetings and trainings as required. Meet continuing education requirements to satisfy regulatory and accreditation requirements; pursue professional growth. Participate in management of team/program discretionary resources to meet client needs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Essential and Desired) Master's degree in the mental health profession; one year of human services experience in a mental health setting (essential); doctorate/licensing substitutions may apply (desired). Eligibility for registration/waiver with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT/ACSW/APCC) or other appropriate board; First Aid certification on hire or within 30 days; continuing education requirements for residential facilities (essential). Proven typing speed (30 wpm essential; 40 wpm desired); computer literacy; ability to use MS Office and basic databases. Ability to work independently and in teams; manage a caseload; communicate effectively in English (verbal and written); sound clinical judgment; adaptive to a strengths-based, harm-reduction model; work with diverse populations. Knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment, rehabilitation techniques; community resources; MHSA and WRAP (preferred). Special requirements: criminal records clearance; valid California Driver License with insured vehicle; physical ability to perform duties including lifting, standing, walking, and emergency evacuation assistance.
