Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials
• State SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure) required
• Prior school-based experience preferred, particularly with grades 6-12
• Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing needs
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students aged 6-12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families
• Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify student needs
• Provide direct and consultative services, offering support within both individual and group settings
• Educate and empower teachers and family members on communication strategies that enhance classroom and home learning
