Director of Internal Project Management and Change Governance

Role Description

As a Director of Internal Project Management and Change Governance within Tempus Technologies, subsidiary of PNC, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Chicago, IL, Auburn, IN or remotely. Tempus is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative leader to establish and mature Internal Project Management and Change Governance as enterprise-wide disciplines.

• Responsible for developing frameworks, standards, governance practices, and operating routines.
• Enable teams to effectively plan, prioritize, govern, and execute change across the organization.
• Serve as the central leader responsible for creating consistency, transparency, and accountability across Tempus' portfolio of strategic and operational initiatives.
• Partner closely with business leaders, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Balance strategic thinking with operational execution, influence without direct authority, and build practical governance structures.
• Centralize internal project prioritization, improve transparency into organizational initiatives, and strengthen execution discipline.
• Ensure alignment with risk, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to support informed decision-making and effective delivery of change.

This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Typically requires a university/college degree.
• Higher level education such as a Master's degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
• Industry experience is typically 8+ years.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
