Procurement Coordinator Location: Overland Park, KS, US Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies Responsibilities Provide support to the project team with mildly complex procurement post‑award activities which may expand to more complex projects or assignments on multiple projects. Support other procurement duties. Work under general supervision. Administer the invoicing approval process through invoice receipt, contract compliance, coordination with project personnel, routing, tracking of invoices for approval and payment in accordance with the contract; and collaborate and report to project management and cost controls as needed. Proficiently use the Company's Enterprise Procurement System by tracking invoices and entering purchase order agreements and revisions. Administer the contract and contract revision approval processes, preparing contract agreement documents for execution, ensuring conformance of commercial documents and coordinating with Engineering regarding the conformed technical documents. Lead contract and project closeout, including final payments, resolution of claims, and insurance coverage as required. Maintain a variety of tracking logs related to contracts, contract revisions, invoices, closeout, etc. File appropriate documents and follow Corporate and project filing rules. May train others in the function of Procurement Administration with oversight from Supervisor. Act as an individual contributor with no subordinates. Preferred Qualifications BA or BS degree in Purchasing, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field (preferred). Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. Proficiency and attention to detail. Strong communication—written and oral. Computer skills—databases and Microsoft Office. Basic contract comprehension. Proficient data entry. Basic mathematics. Organizational skills. Basic problem solving. Basic project process management. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search. Work Environment / Physical Demands Travel may be required. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
