As a Front Desk Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and support a professional, secure environment. You will use computer or tablet tools to document activity, communicate with site personnel, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front-desk access protocols at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry activity, verify visitor and driver information, issue appropriate credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records. Receive and direct visitors, deliveries, and phone inquiries while communicating professionally with site personnel and management. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Monitor front-desk areas and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and security-related issues to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of security-related experience. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
