Distribution Sales Manager - Stanley Access Technologies

The Distributor Sales Manager is a dynamic "player-coach" role responsible for both driving direct sales growth and actively leading, developing, and engaging a high-performing Distribution Sales team. While maintaining key relationships with top-tier distribution partners to maximize AAT revenue and gross margins, this leader will also focus heavily on onsite management, mentoring team members, and assisting the Distribution team in growing their respective accounts. The main objective of this position is to champion a culture of continuous people development and recognition, while strategically guiding the team in setting up new stocking distributors, executing product seminars, and driving overall AAT product sales through distribution.

What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred (equivalent experience acceptable).
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a strong emphasis on supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated passion for employee development, team building, and fostering an engaged workplace culture.
- Practical knowledge of trucking, transportation management, and freight optimization, with the ability to guide a team through these operational challenges.
- Familiarity with import/export requirements and company security practices (C-TPAT) preferred.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and deliver measurable cost or service gains through team empowerment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; highly customer-focused and results-oriented.
Performance Measurements
- Team Development & Engagement: Employee retention, team quota attainment, and successful implementation of engagement/recognition initiatives.
- Sales & Account Growth: Dual Distributor Sales growth (parts, bulk purchases, etc.) and overall territory revenue targets.
- Distributor Program Management: Successful execution of sales plans, goals, and GPO program management.
- Onsite & Field Activity: Frequency and effectiveness of actively calling on & visiting distributors alongside team members.
- Strategic Execution: Successful new product launches, new distributor onboarding, and large project bid support.
- Operational Excellence: Effective forecasting, key accounts distribution support (service) for branches, and efficient distributor issue resolution/escalation management.
Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
- The expected Base Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000
- Bonus Eligible: Yes - SIP Eligible
