TECH - MRI

Responsibilities As an MRI Technologist (PRN) at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, you will provide clinical MRI services in accordance with MRI practice standards, serve as a resource to MRI students and other technologists, and support optimal department functions while ensuring patient safety and strict magnetic safety compliance. You will maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a safe and organized condition and complete ancillary tasks to promote efficient departmental operations. Requirements & Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent required. Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required. BS or MS in healthcare preferred. Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required. Two (2) years of experience as an MRI lead and acute care experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements, and to effectively present information and respond to questions. Proficiency in performing basic arithmetic and computing rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting data displays. Capability to follow written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions and solve practical problems in settings with limited standardization. Knowledge of and compliance with regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Adherence to hospital policies and procedures at all times. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with clinical personnel, medical staff, and the public. Proficiency with PC and relevant applications.
