School Physical Therapist | Westfield, Indiana

Job Description

This part-time contract opportunity allows you to make a difference in educational settings, working with a diverse range of students from PreK to 12th grade. With a flexible three-day-per-week schedule totaling 20 hours, you’ll be able to focus on delivering quality care and personalized strategies in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for various ages and developmental stages

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions to students based on their unique needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report findings to faculty and parents
Provide consultative support and training to school staff for integration of therapeutic strategies in the classroom
Travel within the Bedford area to serve children across different school sites
