• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in sample collection and preparation for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and sterile working environment, adhering strictly to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Stay abreast of your certification requirements, maintaining current credentials throughout your tenure.
