Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to predefined protocols.
• Evaluate test results for completeness, troubleshoot unexpected outcomes, and perform necessary maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples diligently for analysis.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and promote high-quality laboratory standards.
• Maintain an organized and secure work environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification while employed.
