Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various domains such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Carefully analyze results to ensure their accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analyses as required, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment while strictly following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, is required, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
