Your Responsibilities - What Awaits You

• Conduct both standard and advanced tests in clinical laboratoriesincluding but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhere to established guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy by analyzing results, troubleshooting potential errors, and maintaining equipment through regular preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, contribute to the training of new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your career here.
