Position: CVOR Nurse Manager (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday

We are actively seeking an experienced CVOR Nurse Manager / Surgical Services Leader to oversee a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) unit within a leading acute care hospital.

Job Summary

The CVOR Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall clinical and operational leadership of the Cardiovascular Operating Room , ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CVOR and perioperative operations
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization for surgical services
• Supervise and develop a team of ~26 surgical staff
• Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Manage operational budgets and resource utilization
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and perioperative leadership teams
• Maintain high standards of cardiovascular surgical care delivery
• Participate in policy development and performance improvement programs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience REQUIRED
• Previous OR or Surgical Services leadership experience required
• BSN required
• Master’s degree (MSN or healthcare-related) required or in progress
