Golf Course Equipment Manager - Veterans Club Veterans Club is seeking a skilled and motivated Golf Course Mechanic to join our agronomy team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and preventative care of golf course equipment and utility vehicles used to maintain exquisite playing conditions. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing reliable, detail-oriented work in a professional, team-focused environment and understands the importance of equipment performance that aids in producing exceptional golf for our members and their guests. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair: Reel and rotary mowers Utility vehicles Tractors Sprayers Small engines Handheld equipment Perform preventative maintenance programs on all golf course equipment Grind and adjust reels and bedknives to tournament-quality standards Maintain accurate service records and maintenance schedules Assist in managing equipment inventory and ordering parts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work space Proactive mindset and positive attitude Communicate effectively with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents regarding equipment performance and repair needs. Qualifications Previous experience as a golf course mechanic preferred Knowledge of: Hydraulic systems Electrical troubleshooting Gas and diesel engines Reel mower setup and grinding Ability to operate golf course equipment safely Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license required Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-end golf course or sports turf maintenance environments Welding and fabrication experience Knowledge of Toro and Foley equipment systems Ability to maintain precise cutting standards for greens and fine turf Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays Golf privileges Continuing education and professional development opportunities Potential relocation assistance for qualified candidates About Veterans Club Veterans Club is set to be a premier private club located just outside Cincinnati OH. The golf course is currently being built and is looking to open sometime next summer (2027). We currently have four holes finished and being maintained with the remainder of the back nine getting closer each and every day. This is a grow in/ build so there will be times that assistance on the course is needed.
