Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, order essential tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in partnership with supervising physicians
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your competencies
• Engage in follow-ups and manage chronic health conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certifications Required

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
