- Perform thorough patient evaluations, order essential tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in partnership with supervising physicians
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and effective disease management
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your competencies
- Engage in follow-ups and manage chronic health conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a compassionate bedside manner
- Strong communication skills while engaging with patients and healthcare teams
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare settings
- Proficient in EMR systems and comfortable with virtual health platforms
