Float Patient Care CoordinatorPride Health is hiring a Float Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's medical facility in Worcester, MA 01606. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Details:Location: Worcester, MA 01606.Job Type: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion).Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am-4:30 pm.Pay Range: $18-19/hr. on W2.*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Specific DutiesCheck in patients for Laboratory and Radiology appointments.Triage patients to the appropriate department based on their visit.Release Lab and Radiology orders using Epic.Request missing provider orders when necessary.Prepare imaging CDs for patient pickup.Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation.Communicate effectively with clinical staff.Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.Follow organizational policies and HIPAA guidelines.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous customer service experience required.Healthcare experience preferred.Experience with Epic EMR is a plus.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
