Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to join their team.Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55/hrPosition Overview:
The Marketing Consultant will support strategic marketing initiatives during a 12-week engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a passion for beauty, fragrance, and consumer insights who enjoys translating market intelligence into actionable business strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze industry trends, evaluate competitive activity, and develop polished, client-facing reports and presentations that support key business decisions.Responsibilities of the Marketing Consultant:
- Monitor and analyze global beauty and fragrance industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
- Identify emerging market opportunities through research and competitive analysis.
- Develop executive and client-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations using sales data and consumer insights.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and business stakeholders to support key initiatives.
- Translate complex market data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Support special marketing projects and additional initiatives as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Consultant:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, luxury, or consumer products industries.
- Strong understanding of the beauty and fragrance marketplace, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive-level presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects from concept through completion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a "no task too big or too small" attitude.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Consultant:
- Experience in consumer insights, category management, market research, or competitive intelligence.
- Familiarity with graphic design or creative presentation tools is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
