Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered NurseBon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-time PreOp PACU Registered Nurse. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI's mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI's mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. As a stand-alone surgery center, we embrace high standards of safety and quality while delivering an excellent patient experience.Qualifications:Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferredLicensure: Current license as a VA Registered NurseCertifications: BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 daysExperience: 2 years' ambulatory experience preferredGood command of the English language, both verbal and writtenPositive attitude and willingness to learnKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Independent decision making skillsExcellent customer service skillsAdvocate of patient safety and quality of careProvide leadership and support in developing and maintaining effective relationships with the center staff and the medical staffMaintain standards of nursing care within the Center in compliance with professional nursing standards and recommended perioperative proceduresWhat We Offer:As a valued member of USPI, your health and well-being are important to us.
