FIG Investment Banking Associate, AI Residency

Role Description

You'll work directly on improving how Frontier AI handles corporate finance and gain rare, early exposure to how AI labs actually develop their models.

As part of the project, you will contribute your FIG deal experience to a structured research project, used to help improve AI reasoning across investment banking and capital markets. The work involves:

• Generating, refining, and evaluating content that reflects how FIG professionals think through transactions across banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in FIG investment banking at a bulge bracket or elite boutique.
• Associate level across FIG M&A, capital raising, or strategic advisory.
• Deep expertise in financial institutions sector dynamics, regulatory capital, and FIG-specific valuation methodologies (DDM, P/BV, P/TBV).
• Strong financial modeling skills and comfort with FIG-specific transaction analysis, fairness opinions, and client-facing materials.
• Ability to articulate FIG investment banking judgment clearly and precisely in writing.

• Commitment: 20+ hours/week, flexible scheduling.
