Investment Banking M&A Specialist for AI Research

This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions to contribute to a research project with a leading frontier AI lab. As an Investment Banking M&A Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating, reviewing, and evaluating high-quality banking and M&A scenarios, utilizing your extensive background in financial analysis and transaction execution. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute high-quality training data for frontier AI systems.
• Analyze financial statements and interpret valuation outputs.
• Support deal processes and provide clear recommendations based on complex financial information.
• Engage in financial modeling, company analysis, due diligence, and pitch materials.
• Assist in market research and deal execution support.

• Experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, valuation, and transaction execution.
• Background at a bulge bracket investment bank, such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, or J.P. Morgan, or another leading global investment bank with a strong M&A practice.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, company and industry analysis, due diligence, and creating pitch books and investment committee materials.
• Ability to analyze strategic buyer, sponsor, or public-company transaction scenarios.

• Remote position with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week.

• Hourly rate ranging from £180 to £230.

• Must be based in the United Kingdom and possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• The vetting process includes a resume and work history screen followed by a short interview evaluating investment banking and M&A expertise.
