Litigation Attorney for AI Model Training

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of AI by leveraging your legal expertise in litigation. You will work closely with a leading AI lab to train frontier models using high-quality legal reasoning data. As a Litigation Attorney, you will design realistic legal scenarios, evaluate model outputs, and influence how AI understands civil litigation processes.

• Design legally realistic scenarios based on your litigation practice, including motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy.
• Write "golden" reference responses that meet attorney-level quality standards.
• Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to enhance model performance.
• Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.

• 1, 4 years of professional experience in civil litigation, either at a law firm, government agency, or legal department.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
• Excellent written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Experience with e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, document coding, privilege review).
• Appellate or trial experience.
• Familiarity with case management software.

• Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• Fully remote position, applicants must be based in the United States, Canada, or United Kingdom.
• Role starts immediately, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

$100, $150 per hour.
