Accounting Specialist for AI Research Project

Join a dynamic research project focused on frontier AI systems as an Accounting Specialist. This role is distinct in its emphasis on ASC 606 revenue recognition, requiring professionals who can analyze and interpret complex accounting scenarios related to customer contracts and revenue timing. Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and evaluate high-quality accounting scenarios.
• Apply ASC 606 standards to analyze contract terms and identify technical accounting issues.
• Provide clear explanations of revenue recognition conclusions.
• Contribute high-quality training data for AI systems.

• Proven experience in revenue recognition, technical accounting, audit, accounting advisory, or financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Ability to interpret accounting guidance and evaluate revenue policies.
• Experience at a leading accounting, audit, or advisory firm such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, BDO, Grant Thornton, Forvis Mazars, RSM, Crowe, or Evelyn Partners.

• Remote position available for candidates based in the United Kingdom.
• Availability to work up to 40 hours per week.

• Hourly rate of £150 - £200.

• Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
