Labor & Employment Lawyer for AI Research Project

Join a dynamic research project with a leading frontier AI lab, leveraging your expertise in Labor & Employment law. This role is designed for experienced lawyers qualified to practice in the United States, who will engage in creating, reviewing, and evaluating realistic legal and workplace policy scenarios. Key Responsibilities
- Create and review corporate workplace policies.
- Evaluate employee handbooks and HR policies.
- Provide advisory work in labor and employment matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Review discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and accommodation policies.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Address termination, discipline, and employee relations issues.
- Navigate multi-jurisdictional employment law challenges.
- Support employment law needs for multinational companies.
- Qualified to practice law in the United States.
- Professional experience in a Labor & Employment / Employment Law practice group.
- Experience advising on or reviewing corporate workplace policies.
- Experience at leading law firms such as Baker McKenzie, Littler, Seyfarth Shaw, Squire Patton Boggs, Ogletree Deakins, Morgan Lewis, Paul Hastings, Proskauer, A&O Shearman, Hogan Lovells, Gibson Dunn, Latham & Watkins, Mayer Brown, Jones Day, or similar firms with a strong Labor & Employment practice.
- Resume and work history screening.
- Short interview to evaluate expertise in Labor & Employment law and workplace policies.
- Remote position.
- Hourly employment type.
- Hourly rate of $225 - $250.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom or the United States.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom or the United States.
- Must be a US-qualified lawyer.
