Job Summary
We are looking for a Low Voltage Switchgear Lead with hands-on experience in mechanical design of low-voltage switchgear, sheet metal structures, and copper components. The ideal candidate should have experience with UL 891 and power distribution products.

Job Title: Low Voltage Switchgear Lead

Location: Henrico, Virginia

Key Responsibilities

Design mechanical components and assemblies for low-voltage switchgear.
Develop sheet metal designs, particularly support structures and copper components.
Support design and development of power distribution equipment.
Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
Apply applicable industry standards, including UL 891.
Work with engineering documentation, drawings, and design revisions.

Required Qualifications

4 8 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
Experience designing low-voltage switchgear or power distribution equipment.
Strong sheet metal design experience.
Experience with products such as Tap-off Units, PDUs, RPPs, and Main Switchboards.
Knowledge of UL 891 standards.
Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes
