Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Current BLS certification
- NBCOT certification
- AK License
- EMR system: Epic
- Ability to treat in Outpatient, Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Swing Bed settings
- Experience in Dementia Management, IDDSI, Aphasia, Apraxia
- Preferred experience with Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Coma Stimulation, Anoxia, Developmental Delay, Autism, Cleft Palate
- Preferred experience with Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on speech and language disorders and treatment options
