Then we may have your dream job!Responsibilities:The Maintenance and Facilities division at Disneyland® Resort is looking for individuals who have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy, industrial machinery. Outside Machinists work on the Disneyland® Resort attractions and ride vehicles. This position performs functional checks, troubleshooting, overhauling, maintenance, repair, and alteration of systems and equipment, and conducts quality checks of completed work of equipment.Basic Qualifications:You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role2+ years of experience directly related as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facilitySchedule Availability:Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days offPreferred Qualifications:Technical Abilities:Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and basic tools required of a machinistExperience with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with alignment of pumps and shaftsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsFamiliarity with the use of PCsAbility to use fall protection, boatswain's chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipmentExperience using standard shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, band sawsExperience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (Mules), man lifts and lift trucksAbility to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures, and for those specified to Disney California Adventure Park, are you able to work at heights up to 200 feet above the groundThe pay rate for this role in California is $41.63 to $50.68 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
