# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) – Georgia Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week; 16–10 bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• Intermediate Medical Care Unit specializing in acute and complex medical conditions
• Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Experience managing patients with substance abuse, encephalopathy, and heparin drip protocols
• Manageable patient ratio of 1:4 in a supportive, team-oriented environment
• Contract assignment with flexible start options
• Opportunity to work in a dynamic metropolitan healthcare setting

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of IMCU or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience managing medically complex patients and IV drip protocols
