Senior Scrum Master

We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master (Contract or FTE) to join our team. You will work alongside other team members and report directly to the Product Manager. You will be responsible for guiding the team and leaders through the Agile self-organized process of estimating, developing, testing/QAT, improving and maintaining our existing product(s). You will work with the team and leaders to remove impediments, and/or guiding the team to remove impediments independently. You will - on an as-needed basis – assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and perform coaching as needed to bring the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable for the team. You will work with the team and leadership to balance the needs of the organization (traditional Waterfall policies and procedures) and the demands of the Agile framework. You will support and educate team leaders, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a strong team attitude.Required Skills:Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)Demonstratable experience performing the Scrum Master role for at least three years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theoryProven skills navigating between traditional organizational approaches (ex. Waterfall) and Agile Previous experience as a development team lead in traditional Waterfall environmentExcellent proven skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyWorking knowledge of techniques for filling in the gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team (.NET, Azure, Cloud)Excellent communication and mentoring skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task while maintaining attention to the detailsPreferred Skills and experience:Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile GamesITaaS, AutomationCloud computing, Azure, AWSAbility to work remotelyWe are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master (Contract or FTE) to join our team.
