Staff Accountant

A leading, multi-location hospitality organization is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Staff Accountant to support robust financial operations across a high-volume, service-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, understands the nuances of hospitality financials, and brings accuracy, ownership, and analytical strength to daily accounting activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations Support multi-unit P&L preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting Assist with AP/AR processing, vendor management, and payment cycles Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations Monitor cash flow activity and support treasury functions as needed Partner with operations leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve financial accuracy Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking across multiple locations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of accounting experience; hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and accounting/ERP systems Experience with high-volume cash environments Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Preferred Skills Experience with ERP Software Strong problem-solving abilities and process-improvement mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr Frederick Fox
