Sales Representative — Industrial Packaging Distribution

We're working with a large, acquisitive packaging distributor with a significant presence across the US - full-line rigid and industrial packaging, serving manufacturers across a broad range of end markets.

They're restructuring their go-to-market approach and building a new layer of hungry, high-performing sales reps across multiple territories. This is not a typical outside sales role.

The role

You're not walking in cold. You'll be given a structured account base and target list from day one, with clear opportunities already identified within it. Three lanes to drive revenue immediately.

Lane one: cross-sell into existing accounts that already trust the business. Lane two: expand into unserved sites within those same customer groups, warm outreach not cold calling. Lane three: Greenfield new logo prospecting to build your pipeline for year two and beyond.

The structure is there. It just needs the right person to execute it.

What we're looking for

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on a comfortable book of business. Senior leadership has been explicit - they want hungry, achievement-oriented people who can point to things they've genuinely built and grown.

• 1–3 years in a sales role, ideally within packaging, distribution or an adjacent industry
\n
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets — specific numbers, not generalities
\n
• Comfortable picking up the phone and creating opportunities from scratch
\n
• Goal-oriented, competitive, driven — collegiate athlete background a strong plus
\n
• No interest in coasting — this role rewards people who want to get to $200k
\n

The numbers

• $85,000 - $90,000 base salary - can be flexible for the right individual
\n
• $75,000 variable = $150,000 OTE Year 1
\n
• $200,000 OTE target Year 2 for strong performers
\n
• 3-month guarantee on variable while ramping
\n
