Expert agents reason against that ground truth to act on complex, high-stakes decisions — not just answer questions about them.From national security to commercial operations, Accrete delivers the work on one platform, with unlimited expert agents and expert judgement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all core legal activities, including corporate governance, and contract negotiationAdvise executive leadership and the Board of Directors on legal, regulatory, and business mattersOversee corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing agreementsManage outside counsel relationships and legal budgetsDevelop and implement company policies to ensure legal and ethical standards are upheldLead intellectual property strategy, including patent filings and trade secret protectionSupport crisis management and internal investigations as neededGuide legal aspects of product development, marketing, and sales initiativesFoster a culture of legal awareness and compliance across the organizationQualifications & ExperienceJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar required15+ years of progressive legal experience, including senior roles in technology, AI, or government contracting industriesDemonstrated expertise in corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and regulatory affairsExperience advising high-growth startups and managing complex legal risksStrong understanding of federal procurement law, cybersecurity regulations, and data privacy (e.g., CMMC, GDPR, CCPA)Prior experience working with federal agencies or defense contractors preferredProven ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice aligned with business objectivesSkills & CompetenciesExceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbalStrategic mindset with a strong business acumen and ability to influence leadership decisionsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesHigh integrity and commitment to ethical practicesCollaborative approach with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and complianceProactive risk management and problem-solving orientationSalary Range: 260k-325k + OptionsThe salary range provided reflects the estimated compensation for this role based on the expected qualifications and experience level.
