ACCOUNTANT

US Marine Corps

Job Title

You will review and analyze accounts and evaluate account balances, trends, and conditions to provide guidance to management.

You will review a variety of financial documents for completeness, internal accuracy, and conformance with uniform accounting classifications of other specific accounting requirements.

You will reconcile reports and financial data with financial reports on file, point out inconsistencies or errors, assemble information, and make comparative analyses.

You will interpret accounting regulations and identify accounting problems such as inadequate maintenance of fund controls, inaccurate records and reports, or improper methods for document control, to support performance of regulatory reconciliation.

You will interpret database input and output listings and resolves accounting systems problems with system accountants, local programmers, and system analysts.
