Title: Pharmacist I (Contract-to-Hire) — $53/hr (W2) — Remote or On-Site (Brooks, KY) Pay: $53/hour (W2) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: Between 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM ET (shifts scheduled within these hours) Openings: 3 Location Options: Remote OR On-site On-site Address: Brooks, KY 40109 Job Summary We’re hiring Pharmacist I professionals to support prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling while ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. This role also supports day-to-day pharmacy operations and may include supervision and guidance of pharmacy technicians. What You’ll Do Interpret physicians’ prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines Verify inpatient/outpatient prescriptions according to professional standards and facility procedures Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, frequency, and potential drug interactions Review patient plans of care and identify obvious conflicts Respond to escalated customer/patient issues and resolve efficiently Support quality assurance, controlled substance security, and recordkeeping Provide technical guidance to pharmacy technicians; assist with training/in-services Assist with technician scheduling/reporting (sick time, PTO, holiday tracking) Required Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky (KY) in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy Preferred Qualifications Supervisory experience (especially leading pharmacy technicians) Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, services, and drug interactions Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days 401(k) with company match available after 1 year Application Instructions To be considered, please apply and include: Confirmation of your active KY pharmacist license Whether you prefer remote or on-site work Your availability for a quick callaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
