Responsibilities

• Work in concert with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop effective care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families, aiding progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Facilitate occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring smooth transitions in care throughout recovery.
• Keep meticulous records that align with various regulatory standards and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licenses

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
