We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join an established team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting client accounts, processing orders accurately, and delivering responsive service in an office setting. The role offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule and is suited to a detail-oriented individual who can confidently work across multiple computer systems while building strong customer relationships. This position is on-site, Monday-Friday working 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day service needs

• Process incoming orders with accuracy and ensure information is entered correctly into company systems

• Respond to customer questions promptly and provide clear updates regarding orders, account activity, and service issues

• Build and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers through consistent communication and follow-through

• Navigate between software platforms efficiently to complete account updates, documentation, and order-related tasks

• Monitor account details closely to help resolve discrepancies and support smooth order fulfillment

• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and keep service levels high

• Previous experience in customer service, account support, or order entry roles
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn and use multiple systems effectively
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Accurate keyboarding skills with a typing speed of approximately 6,000 to 8,000 alpha keystrokes per hour
• Ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with a focus on professionalism and relationship building
• Experience related to intermodal logistics is a plus
