Job Overview A law firm seeks an Attorney in Indianapolis, IN to advocate for clients across complex litigation matters. The role involves representing clients in various courts, managing cases through all litigation phases, and collaborating with clients and colleagues to navigate legal issues effectively. Duties Represent clients in municipal, state, and federal courts. Prepare and present oral arguments and exhibits. Oversee legal assistants and paralegals in case management. Handle discovery and all litigation phases for contested cases. Manage appellate cases, including research and brief writing. Negotiate settlements and advise clients on legal matters. Draft and review legal documents and templates. Collaborate with colleagues on legal proceedings. Requirements Juris Doctorate degree. Admission to the Bar in relevant jurisdictions. Notary Public preferred. Experience as a law clerk or intern preferred. Exceptional communication skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Proficiency with MS Office products. Ability to travel as needed. Education Juris Doctorate degree. Certifications Admission to the Bar. Notary Public preferred. Skills Strong attention to detail.
